    One of the oldest plants of Ukraine, with the history of more than 140 years - nowdays take a place in leading positions on the world machinery-building market. Berdichev Machine-Building Plant "Progress" comprises with the modern efficient solutions in the field of filtration, drying, capacitance equipment for technological schemes of many industrial sectors.

    Progress has a powerful industrial and technological base and highly qualified scientific, engineering and technical personnel. Factory workshops, equipped with modern technological equipment, carry out casting, stockpiling, press-forging, assembly and welding works, mechanical processing of various materials and have the ability to flexibly change technological processes. Production areas provide an opportunity to organize the production of non-traditional types of products.

    After obtaining the license for construction and design works, the main activity of our company become design of turnkey technological lines, coordination work of design and construction organizations, select the main suppliers of equipment and materials, installers and installation supervisors and contract management before facility commissioning. Presently, equipment manufactured by the plant has received high competitive qualities, got a new customer performance and corresponds to the world level of up-to date machine-building. In modernized designs, up-to date materials and components are used to improve productivity, reduce costs, increase durability and safety in maintenance, providing usability in operation.

    Filtering, drying, capacitive, heat exchange equipment under the Progress brand has found wide application in the environmental, chemical, mining, coal, metallurgical and other industries.

    One of the newest technical achievements of the plant is the fundamentally new automatic chamber filter presses developed by the specialists of the plant: KMPm (tower type) and FKMm – (horizontal type) filter press with upper suspension of polypropylene filter plates. The quality as well as technical-and-economic indexes of the FKMm series filter-presses is on par with their counterparts from foreign manufacturers. In the development of the design of these filter presses were used the latest achievements of engineering, the latest technological solutions, the most reliable control microprocessor systems, and therefore we can say that the filter presses KMPm and FKMm are the equipment of the third millennium.

    The unique design of tower type filter presses provides horizontal position of filter septum. Due to this filtering process goes under the most optimal conditions, which also reduces the duration of auxiliary operations and, accordingly, increases the productivity of such filter presses compared to other types of filters.

    A new tower type filter press KMPm with filtration area of 196m2, which has no analogues in the world, has already been manufactured and put into operation. In the development of filter press’s design were used the latest achievements of engineering and technological solutions, the most reliable control microprocessor systems, and therefore we can say that today filter press KMPm-196 is the most advanced equipment of this type in the world.

    Horizontal type chamber filter presses with the top and side suspension of filter plates are designed for filtering suspensions with different characteristics. They are used in aniline-colored, chemical, oil refining, ceramic and food industries.

    Plate-and-frame filter presses are designed for filtering neutral, alkaline and acid suspensions.

    Drum dryers BN type and rotary dryers are used in the mining, chemical, petrochemical, coal industries, ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, as well as in the production of mineral fertilizers.

    Drum dryers BN type of continuous operation are designed for drying non-explosive, non-flammable, non-toxic bulk materials.

    RV vacuum rotary dryers are used for drying liquid, pastelike and bulk materials under technical vacuum conditions, as well as drying of toxic non-explosive products and materials containing organic solvents.

    Additionally, we manufacture heat generators of various capacities that run on gas, diesel or fuel oil. They are designed to heat the heat-conveying medium from 100 °C to 1000 °C.

    Drum coolers B are used to cool bulk materials to 40 °C after drying.

    As noted above, the plant Progress also produces equipment for environmental purposes electrostatic precipitators GDF type, fabric bag filters FRIR type, dust cyclones.

    Dry dust collectors are widely used in industry compared to wet dust collectors, as there is no need for sludge collectors.

    Electrostatic precipitators work in many industries, including metallurgical and mining, as well as cement production.

    Bag filters are used to trap dust from aspiration air in ferrous and nonferrous metallurgy, power engineering, building materials industry, chemical, petrochemical, and textile industries.

    Cyclone dust collectors are used as the first cleaning stage.

    For water-supply systems of power plants, industrial and heating boilers, the plant produce filters for desalting and water softening, salt solutions for preparing regeneration solutions of ammonium salt and ammonium sulphate, cationic solutions, and also storage tanks for concentrated sulfuric and nitric acids.

    For the food and processing industry, the company manufactures filter presses for filtering oil, beer, wine, juices, soft drinks; thermal devices for the production of canned fruits and vegetables, confectionery.

    For flour mills and feed mills, we manufacture vibrating screens to produce high-grade flour, separating it into fractions; bag filters for trapping flour dust on equipment for hydrothermal processing of various cereals.

    The plant “Progress” is a powerful base for the developing of new productions. We intensify our efforts under developing the new projects, reinforcement of serial products, modernization of existing equipment.
